Technique Tap  with John Manzari  (1 hour)This class will focus on strengthening your tap technique, by using historical and unconventional approaches to dance.

Improvisational Tap with Leo Manzari  (1 hour)This class will focus on the ability to work off of clear intention, execution, and timing. The class will rearrange structures and break habits in an effort to introduce new dance ideas.

Conversation with Maurice Hines & Jason Samuels Smith  (45 min)The superstar hoofer Jason Samuels Smith will interview Maurice Hines about tap history, tap technique, and choreography. The dance legend will speak to the class about his life experiences as a performer, which includes studying ballet, jazz, and tap. He will take questions and if you’re lucky he might put on his tap shoes and dance with the class, too!Maurice will be available for autographs. T-shirts from the award-winning documentary, Maurice Hines: Bring Them Back, will be available for purchase at the Miami Light Project event on 3/8.
